On a lighter note (let's face it - almost anything is lighter...). But not any less shocking...

This photo of a mouse was taken by a friend, in the cafeteria of the main hospital in Halifax, Canada! *

More mice were apparently spotted by this friend at the emergency dept in the Infirmary.

This is the same hospital where patients are advised against drinking or brushing teeth etc in water from the tap. The pipes are contaminated with Legionella.

And the same one where patients are practically suffocating in summer heat as they can't put air conditioners on the floors due to concerns over air quality.

I guess we should be grateful that Steven didn't come down with some disease from his two recent eye surgeries. And we are.

*What also shocked me was that this friend was actually feeding it.
