Al-Sayeh discusses role of judiciary in supporting electoral process

Chairman of the High National Elections Commission (NARC), Imad Al-Sayeh, has met with Chairman of the High Judicial Council, Miftah Al-Qawi. HNEC stated on its Facebook page that the meeting discussed a number of topics related to the role of the judiciary in supporting the electoral process and legitimizing it to contribute to the stability of legal centers in the country.

The High National Elections Commission (HNEC) has announced that the total number of organizations registered to monitor municipal council elections reached 81, and the total number of individual observers 973. The total number of registered media outlets reached 7, while the total number of media representatives reached 16, the HNEC stated, calling on organizations wishing to register to review all documents related to the registration and accreditation of observers.

HNEC explained, in a post on its official Facebook page, that the total percentage of cards received reached 64%, indicating that the total number of "male" voters who received their cards totaled 94,196 voters, or 63% of those registered in the voter registry.
