Festival crush update: after updating @TheBreadmonkey on my wholly unrequited and inappropriate crushes on singers Georgia, Dana and Leah (BCNR, Porridge Radio and Mysterines respectively) at #greenman2024 I had very few crushes at #greenman2025:

Total mancrushes on Perfume Genius and That Hot Guy from W H Lung, and also on John Glacier (a woman).

At #eotr2025 I had a mild to moderate swoon at Sharon Van Etten, but this morning fell head over heels in love with Photography Babe at The Sophs. She had long black hair in a black cap, a black leather jacket and a 100-200mm telephoto. I didn't even get a chance to see if it was a Nikon or Canon, for almost as soon as she fell into my life, she left to go photograph another band.

Farewell Photography Babe, I shall love you until the day I die or the day that I forget you, whichever is the sooner.

@miffyhelen check my #greenman2024 posts for impossibly falling in love with beautiful singers who are far out of my league, and frankly age bracket. Dana, Georgia, Leah, it was over before it began.
I took this photo of Devendra Banhart at #greenman2024 because he looks a bit like a magician.
@TheBreadmonkey #greenman2024 Model/Actriz. The kind of greasy disco sleaze that every modern family needs in their diet. 5/5. Thanks to who recommended them.
@TheBreadmonkey #greenman2024 drive by review of Explosions in the Sky. *waves hands dissmissively* some guitars 3/5
#greenman2024 Big Special at Rising. Big and, er, special. Thumping songs and packed out stage. Black Country, Great Band. 5/5
I dislike enforced (synchronised audience) #clapping at gigs. I'm terrible at coordination and feel awkward about how long we're expected to carry on for. I prefer to show my appreciation my own way. Just me? #greenman2024
#greenman2024 @TheBreadmonkey Black Country New Roads at Mountain Stage. 3/5. I'm enjoying this more than I expected - I think I missed the song I really hate that references Black Midi, a band I dislike even more. It's weird that I love the genre crossing operatic weirdness of Jockstrap but not this operatic weirdness. They are all talented musicians. Here's a photo of best band member Georgia. Can we give it another try? I'll give Lea the bad news.
@TheBreadmonkey Omar Souleyman is driving the crowd wild with his Syrian synth madness at #greenman2024 Mountain stage. 4/5
#greenman2024 @TheBreadmonkey Mysterines at Far Out provided effortlessly great guitar-led rock witch a gothic tinge. Lea had great vocal delivery and, er, a certain stage presence 5/5. Sorry Dana, it's not going to work out.
