Personal reflection..
Technical doubt:
Android remains the property of Google. If Big G continues with its plan to make the code no longer free or open, given that Motorola will use stock Android, how will GrapheneOS be able to continue working on a secret kernel?
Ethical doubt:
Motorola Mobility was bought by Google (USA) in 2012 and then sold to Lenovo (China) in 2014. Today Motorola is owned by the Chinese Lenovo, but has its operational headquarters in Chicago. If law, servers, money revolve around there, it is a US company in all effects, regardless of who owns the shares in China. The fear is that if the "blonde 🇺🇸fascist" presses the red button, Motorola/GrapheneOS will be gone..
