Civilian to combatant death rate of Palaestinians is getting close to Srebrenica. You only get to such statistics through concerted efforts. You really want to kill civilians, with such numbers.

I was tempted to include illustrations by Joe Sacco from his journalistic graphic novel "Safe Area Goražde" but they are very, very explicit on displaying on how you get such a statistics. It's one of the best ways to understand what such a war means, if you haven't experienced it.
