Shout out to #Vodafone - my broadband expires this month, and default was to go up by about Β£10, quick phone call and they've moved me to Full Fibre (finally available at home!), increased the youth's data limits and reduced my overall bill by about Β£40 (2x Full Fibre broadband, 4x mobile contracts and 1x device).

Now, if they can just solve the mobile signal half way through my occasional commute...

In the midst of the crapnado that’s been my life the last few weeks there was one shining light. Midstate Freight called me to say they have a parcel for me that can’t be delivered to my parcel locker as instructed. When I explained that I have no way (currently) to get to the other side of town to collect it during their business hours she arranged instead to have it delivered to my home address. She even called back to check she’d got my address right. It’s refreshing to see that there’s still some good customer service out there.

Mind you, I’ll wait to see if it actually does get delivered vs a card in the letter box (which usually happens and is why I was having it directed to the parcel locker), despite giving them all the info they need to access the property, before I call a complete win on the situation.

Anyway, shout out today to Lavazza for good customer service.
I don't take milk in my coffee, but missus does. A while back she bought a Lavazza milk frother. It does a very good job apparently. But the handle fell off the jug after not long.
I finally got round to mailing them and asking if I could buy a replacement from them. And suggested a design improvement that rather than rivet they could just bolt it on so I wouldn't need to buy a whole new jug.
They very promptly just dispatched a new one for free and it arrived yesterday.
