For the first time in my life, I won't cast my vote tomorrow. Not that I don't want to, I've had a heart attack last night and am now on the road to recovery. I won't be out until Saturday at the earliest.
But YOU can, so go out and vote to prevent the populists and fascists getting in.
On this day 80 years ago, a generation of young men landed on the beaches in Normandy. They fought to free Europe and defeat fascism.
Unfortunately, 80 years later, populism and fascism is on the rise again and we need to defeat it at the ballot boxes. I won't let my kids die on those beaches.

I am not referring to you, specifically. I'm appealing to the senses of those people who incessantly complaint but yet fail to do their sacred duty to vote. Looked at what happened to your privince Ontario in 2022 where only 4.6 million out of 10.7 million eligible voters chose to cast a ballot, a measly 43%!!! Doug Ford's PCs got 1.9M votes out of the 4.6M and is now ruling Ontario with pathetic 17% approval of the 10.7M voters!!!
