Looking to boycott US based stuff?
Start with the cultural imperialism: don't buy anything marked in gallons, feet, pounds etc. Even if it's dual marked.
Send a message that it's time to stop bending the rest of the world to the desires of the USA.

@thomholwerda actually, it's quite simple
0°C = water turns to ice
100°C = water turns to steam
-40°C = -40°F
Who the heck came up with 32°F for freezing and 212°F for evaporating?
Oh yes, the same people who came up with 12 inches to a foot, 3 feet to a yard, 1760 yards to a mile, etc etc. Total Hogwash, lol
Perhaps a way to get holdouts to accept the metric system would be to transitionally allow them to say unnecessarily complicated things like “12⅝ centimeters.”
In the 70's, we learned both the Imperial and Metric Systems of Measurement and consequently are unfamiliar with either system.
"The battle of the standards: why the US and UK can’t stop fighting the metric system"
Metric units have conquered the globe, but in the US and the UK, their presence has become part of a culture war between ‘traditional’ and ‘progressive’ values.
