In my storied decades working behind the scenes in Hollywood, all of the late night shout outs regarding my work were literally shouting. And not the nice kind of shouting.

So waking up to read about #GlamCowboy’s debut like this brought a lot of joy to my jaded, old heart. Thank you, @motoridersd for letting me take this journey with you!

Attached: 2 images Orville hands out roses during his concert to people in the audience he has noticed. Usually for outfits, dancing, cute things, etc. Tonight he gave me his first rose. He said he absolutely loved this recreation of the outfit he wore at the Greek Theater. He handed the rose down to the audience in front of him and then it made its way to me. Got tons of compliments from people throughout the night. It was a great show and I had a wonderful time. Brandon also enjoyed it despite not knowing most of the songs. A neighbor/old Twitter friend I didn't know was there tonight took these and texted them to me haha #OrvillePeck

I'm so excited to share the final #GlamCowboy look that @elfkin made for me! I sent him a YouTube video where Orville Peck wears the look that inspired it and then Chris created our own version.

He used patterns that are traditional of the Mexican state of Chiapas where I grew up, so we made it our own.

He delivered the suit this weekend and took some photos.

I'll be wearing it to the Orville Peck concert in San Diego this Saturday 🤠

I fucking love it.

Yeehaw, #GlamCowboy is done and being delivered to @motoridersd tonight!

Elfkin Exclusive Model, Chad, lacks Jorge’s natural assets but still looks pretty fabulous.

The matching jacket and pants are lamb #leather with hair-on cow hide details. The look is inspired by Orville Peck to which I added more style lines and an original appliqué design. Along with a bunch of #ElfkinCouture construction details. #sewing

I have a few more days than expected to deliver #GlamCowboy, so I’m doing more of the finishing by hand than originally planned. This afternoon has been all about topstitching the waistband and (back)stitching in the ditch for the band’s inner attachment.

It’s possibly not the most fun I’ve ever had in my life. #sewing #ElfkinCouture

As #GlamCowboy’s construction comes to a close, it’s time for finishing touches. Reinforcing patches have gone onto the top corners of the back pockets as well as a spot near the crotch fork where the #leather was a little thinner than I was comfortable with. #sewing
True to my lean management background, I’ve deferred choosing an insertion method for the lining on the #GlamCowboy jacket until absolutely necessary. It’s looking like I’ll be able to put the lining in with one big all around stitch, excepting the sleeve cuffs. Which makes me very happy because it’s what I engineered the pattern to be able to do!

Pieces 102 through 116 of the appliqué for Jorge’s #GlamCowboy jacket are attached and topstitched, marking the official end of appliqué operations.

I’m so excited, I could just spit!

Also, cuz I think it looks kinda cool, a shot of the inside where all the diamonds are stitched.

Before I can close up the bodice on Jorge’s #GlamCowboy jacket, there’s the last of the appliqué. These couldn’t be attached earlier because they’d have interfered with the side seam. Unlike the other appliqué, I have to eyeball the placement here. Which is totally not stressful at all. #sewing #leather #art
It’s been busy enough in the #sewing room these past few days that social media hasn’t been a thing for me. But there’s lots of progress on #GlamCowboy. The last bits of jacket appliqué that can be attached at this point are about to be topstitched. Side seam allowances on the jeans are getting glued down, slowly but surely. And the jacket lining is all marked, cut, and stay stitched. #leather #ElfkinCouture
After more than a couple practice pieces, I’ve got a reliable feel for edge/topstitching #GlamCowboy ‘s appliqué on a machine that I never normally use for such work. It all got much better once I discovered that pencil erases off of this white leather without a trace! #sewing
