Heather EvansSuch a good day today & it started with the Dexa scan of my bones. The lady who did it told me my bone density is almost normal now which means my osteoporosis is now negligible, the chance of bone breaks are less likely. I told her I’d had 4 Prolia injections over the two years & she told me it wasn’t just that but what I’m doing that has helped me. I still have to get the official report from the doctor, but I’m rapt, it made my day.
I picked up two granddaughters & we went off to a local mall food court where we met up with my daughter & her two children which meant it wasn’t a totally all girl day as one is a 4yr old boy, but that’s fine. We each chose what we what to eat & had a lovely girl chat & it really did become a very open girl chat between me, the senior, my daughter pre middle age, Miss 13 adolescent & Miss 8 who is too aware but smart & closing in on adolescence which we think will be early for her & Miss 7, who didn’t really understand & along with Master 4 chatted together. I loved the fact that my adolescent & pre adolescent granddaughters are so comfortable talking about female life, so different to what I experienced & I’m here for it.
After that, off to the indoor pool for a couple of hours play & we all had an awesome time. The youngest two were so tired when we finished up & the kids were all dropped off but best of all were the hugs as we said bye for now ☺️.
