Yesterday's gin advent calendar catch-up session featured a gin that tastes like Jaffa Cakes and another that caused a domestic disagreement. MrsVark also lost the ability to speak just as we started recording (not due to drinking), but soldiered on. It's all going swimmingly.

We were a few drinks in before we started this one. The gin was Caorunn Scottish Raspberry. MrsVark declared it "the best one I've tasted." Her judgment may have been impaired.

Today's gin: Edinburgh Gin Raspberry. It's red, it's 40% ABV, and it caused a brief, entirely over-hyped disagreement in our house. MrsVark says it tastes of raspberry; I remain unconvinced.

With Sha out of action due to FND/CFS, Day 4 of the gin advent calendar was a solo tasting of Darnley's Navy Strength Spiced Gin. At 57.1% ABV. It was a formidable opponent, especially with an evening of casework and admin still to get through.
