Today, January 7th, we celebrate the anniversary of the 1992 Constitution, which came into effect in 1993 and marked the birth of our Fourth Republic. This significant day not only commemorates our commitment to democracy and the rule of law but also serves as a reminder of the principles that guide us as a nation.

On this day, we recognize the vital role of our Constitution in defining the structure and duties of our government while ensuring the fundamental rights of every citizen. It’s also a day when new Heads of State are sworn into office following elections, symbolizing our ongoing journey toward democratic governance.
