imagine my surprise when I tried to login to GfyCat just now. I guess they announced it was shutting down in July? But I never received an email about it.
Apparently all of my gamedev uploads on there are just gone now, including links I was using in my portfolio.
I'm sure I have the originals around somewhere but this really sucks.
update: Wayback machine works to save the mp4's if you have the URLs, might also be able to get to public profile that way, that's a relief!

you may want to download any images you've hosted there before Sept 1st. after that all content will be deleted. it's current owner Snap (of Snapchat fame) has been struggling to make money the last few years. more details after the link
