Last night my wife and I went to see our friend and favorite local artist, Alex Winters, at The Palomino in Georgetown Texas. It was good to see her and her other fans, since we haven't rolled out to see her in a while.

Yesterday, my wife and I had a really nice day. We went to lunch at Sweet Lemon on the Georgetown Square, and the waitress remembered us, even though it's been a while since we've been there, and the last time we were there we had our dog with us. We found out she was seven months pregnant, and her and her husband are foodies, so we talked about our favorite restaurants.
In the evening we went to Alma's, a new restaurant in Georgetown with a couple in our neighborhood. She watches our cats when we go out of town, and we thank her by taking her and her usband out to dinner. The company was great and the restaurant was very nice and a bit unique.
All of this is why we love living in the old historic district of Georgetown Texas!

On Saturday my wife and I went to dinner and saw a play. We went to Fuego Latino Gastropub which may now be our favorite restaurant on the square in downtown Georgetown. I had the mole so I could compare it to what I had in Santa Fe. I liked the mole in Santa Fe better, but I liked this dish better.
The play was around the corner at the Palace Playhouse, which is a tiny theater in the round. The Play was 39 Steps, a parity of the Alfred Hitchcock movie. It was quite silly but entertaining.
