From Italy to Arizona, this gallery follows the transatlantic journey of Gateway's HALO (Habitation and Logistics Outpost).After being packaged and shipped from Thales Alenia Space—the subcontractor that fabricated HALO’s primary structure—in Turin, Italy, the module was flown by cargo aircraft to Mesa, Arizona, arriving on April 1. From there, HALO was transported to Northrop Grumman’s facility in Gilbert, where it will undergo final outfitting ahead of integration with the Power and Propulsion Element and launch to lunar orbit.
