I was canvassing in Barna this evening and had some great conversations with local residents about the issues facing the area.
Should I be elected as an Independent TD for Galway West, I’ll fight for better amenities for young people, safer roads and the investment Barna needs and deserves.
Great welcome in Clifden today as I canvassed with my team.
People raised real concerns about the lack of real cost of living supports, the lack of playgrounds and amenities for kids, the absence of a local crèche and the high cost of childcare. Housing issues came up on nearly every door, along with serious concerns from council tenants about delays in repairs.

Galway West needs Independent TDs who will not vote confidence in Governments or Ministers that have failed our city and county.
If elected in the upcoming by-election, I will not support the current Government. I will not follow the example of so-called independent TDs or parties who prop up the system.
I know what I stand for and who I represent, without the shadow of a party whip looming over me.
