🧵1/ Done w/my political posting today, pivoting to our personal collections. Background: at my advanced age, my millennial adult kids are encouraging me to get my shit together and my affairs in order. My wife and I have traveled in the Americas, south and north; in Europe; and in N. Afrika. We’ve brought or sent back collectibles from all our travels. Plus, we love estate and garage sales - and have picked up some real treasures at rural antique stores - out of the way of the antique trail. Additionally we go to auctions that look good, stocked with exotic goods. And now, we’re inventorying all our collections; tagging the objects that each of our daughters want, and sorting, describing and valuing all of the rest. My youngest is developing docs, sheets and integrating images and AI descriptions to a large inventory binder that’ll we’ll distribute to key relatives once complete. #GYST #AffairsInOrder #Decluttering #EndOfLifePlanning
