A few years ago I was given a "smart" Bluetooth weight scale. Much to my surprise, I was able to use it with the #OpenScale app from F-Droid. However, I would much rather not ever depend on a mobile device. I want the equivalent of OpenScale for the #GNOME desktop.
Turns out there's #GNOMEHealth, so I presume it would make sense to suggest that as part of its featureset (instead of having a separate app for everything… next you'd want a blood pressure app, etc.): https://gitlab.gnome.org/World/Health/-/issues/191

It would be fantastic if GNOME Health could collect weight data from smart scales, of entering stuff manually. Also, there is more than just "weight" to be stored...
