The OpenXC mailing list is now entirely spam.

It's disappointing to see; if you are/were interested in #automotive hacking, it was originally a cool idea for a project. Ford had reasons, presumably, for trying to roll their own layer for building on rather than jumping in with #GENIVI or #AGL ... and I don't pretend to know what they were.

BUT, that team was very open & forthright to outsider and indie questions and AFAIR didn't block or shutdown people doing random stuff.

I can't ever forget one of the most interesting response to my attempt to establish some basic review process for contributions to #GENIVI Development Platform many years ago:

"You're no Linux Torvalds!"
