California will cut ties with Walgreens over the company's plan to drop abortion pills

Walgreens really only had three approaches to choose from, and each has a price:
- Stand up to the GOP
- Pull out of the affected states entirely
- Give in like cowards, which they did

They chose the one with the mise potential damage, including to their reputation. That type of damage doesn't go away.
