WE (Spain) created the EPI, yet left it when they didn't want to hear about Bizum.

Funny thing, I discovered this because I just heard about the EPI and Wero for the first time and all I could think of was "isn't this...Bizum, but EU-wide?".
Wero has 47 million users, Bizum currently has 30 million users.
If we adjust those numbers to the percentage of population using it per countries of coverage, Bizum is the clear winner.
Maybe they shouldn't just cooperate but merge. The Spanish solution is clearly superior on adoption by large, we must be doing something right.
