NateI know it's not even remotely the same thing, but I'm sure my feeling was similar when I realized that I didn't believe in (any) God, and hadn't for a long time.
Not because the two things are in any way the same, but the idea of hiding something from yourself. Of finally "knowing" what you already knew, deep inside.
