RikerDonegal3️⃣ Before all that, #LarryHagman, #HaydenRorke and #BillDaily do a wonderful job carrying the a-story. Even when the script is light, their reactions and bits of business are always worth watching. And usually raise a chuckle.
4️⃣ Supremely-talented musician #FrankDeVol (#FernwoodTonight) guests, and gets some lovely comedic moments reacting to Tony’s strange antics (as an opera singer).

#FernwoodTonight s1e20 (1977) - 9/10
✅ Another very funny episode showing what an insane and terrible chat show these people are making. The host has a cold. Clearly stuck for decent guests, they have an insurance salesman who uses puppets! Then, the bandleader becomes the second guest! #FrankDeVol is hilarious as Happy Kyne. The last segment falls a bit flat, but still a great episode.
