#ForAllMankindS3 was *intense*. I ended up binging the second half of it last weekend.

Now I'm on #ForAllMankindS4 and every season just turns it up another notch, doesn't it?

I love how the history that isn't coming directly from the althistory premise repeats itself, and I also love that sometimes it doesn't, or it does but at another pace.

You're always on your toes because you don't know what's gonna happen, but if you grew up in the 80s, 90s and 00s you also recognize so much of it, and the show captures the feeling of those eras so well.

I think there is not one single success and celebration of human ingenuity in #ForAllMankind that isn't followed by the jolt of a reminder that space is a dangerous business and anything can go horribly wrong at any time, because space is just out to murder you and you're protected by the flimsiest stuff you can get away with carrying around.

I am thoroughly enjoying #ForAllMankindS3 but it is a ride, it's not a casual thing to watch.

So For All Mankind S2 was a bit slow for me and when I had a severe cold a few weeks ago and didn't have patience for anything cerebral I switched to more instant gratification media like old DC cartoons and The Orville (which turned out to be surprisingly cerebral, but still easy to chew).

Now I got back on S2 and wow, it landed running. The second half was all adrenalin and I was hooked. So intense. Such high stakes! And the cliffhangers for S3 promise awesome adventure and sinister drama.

Onward to #ForAllMankindS3!
