Yes, that's right in our Northwest Area of the Florida peninsula Florida had a oil boom beginning in the 1940s and again in the small town of Jay in 1970 and even bigger field was discovered. My fellow #FloridaAuthor JoAnn Lordahl wrote a romance story set in this town during this era and recently we revamped the cover and republished. #FloridaHistory
