@norcalstormchasing
yes, I miss #fireTwitter

Lots of folks are on mastodon but it's not the same, maybe in part because the *agencies* aren't here 🤷‍♀️

@ai6yr yes, I saw him on a fire earlier - sometimes I do miss #firetwitter
@ai6yr I created my account Nov 20, 2022. I generally only lurk or peek in now and then most of the time, but I also miss my #FireTwitter #EMGTwitter & Tweep refugees that are here now.
@ai6yr All I can say.... praise be that all the former #FireTwitter folks I used to follow there for a decade are either founders or reporters for #WatchDuty!

@camless
they do, but that's for the people actually working the fire.

I miss #fireTwitter and people getting excited because air attack just flew over their house on the way to refuel.

In no way pertinent to the actual fire.

in all honesty, I miss the bird site during fire season

#FireTwitter was pretty great

#FireTooter just isn't the same

I just don't feel like I'm doing enough working in education. I feel like I'm fiddling while Rome burns.
lol wait, does #FireTwitter count as a volunteer activity?
