My #FigureSkating coach is wonderful for many reasons but especially:, today I told her I was having a terrible, horrible, no-good, very bad day where everything I practised was just frustrating me to the point of tears -- though I noted the point-of-tears probably actually signals I'm needing to eat more. So she said, okay, in that case let's not do any of that, let's teach you something new, then you *can't* be frustrated.

She then proceeded to teach me a back outside bracket, a forward inside counter, and back inside three-turn, among other things. And lo, I was not frustrated, and in fact was cheered enough that afterwards I went back to practising some of my frustrating things (a little bit anyway...).

And now I'm going to go and get a giant lunch and probably an iron tablet for good measure.
