Purely out of curiosity, thought I’d give a #Fethead (by Triton Audio) a chance to go with the #Diy balanced contact mic prototype..

And wow dämn the levels going to recorder are flaming hot!

Can basically run the input sensitivity at lowest setting (+4dBu) and input gain about halfway while still hitting near-peak levels with low intensity aluminium impact noises 😅🔥
