Seeing a German tearing apart The Sound Of Music is a novel #Christmas gift that you might like to give to someone.

The comment section is full of Americans waxing nostalgic about this American movie. I was already tired of it in my teens, and I didn't even know then what a poor Disneyfied portrayal of WW2 it was presenting. So I had to skip over the long plot re-hash (not that bloody movie *again*!) to get to the critique.
