#nepool, the New England Power Pool, an unincorporated entity nevertheless formally recognized with standing by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, is in violation of the #FederalPowerAct.

How? Nepool violates the FPA principle of technology neutrality by creating two different voting blocks for two different clssses of electricity generation. The effect is to dilute the voting power of renewables (“Alternative Resources”) by a factor of 2 relative to fossil plants (“Generation” sector).
