レベルファイブ代表取締役社長の日野晃博氏は，同社の開発ブログで「ファンタジーライフｉ グルグルの竜と時をぬすむ少女」（PC / PS5 / PS4 / Xbox Series X|S / Nintendo Switch）のプロデューサーを務めていた稲船敬二氏が退社していたことを明かした。 また，レベルファイブがLEVEL5 comceptから事業譲渡により全事業を引き継ぎ，レベルファイブ 大阪オフィスを新設したことも発表されている。「ファンタジーライフｉ グルグルの竜と時をぬすむ少女」の開発業務の引継ぎは既に完了しているという。 稲船氏は，100％子会社であるLEVEL5 comceptを設立し，CCOを務めていた人物だ。カプコン在籍時には「ロックマン」「鬼武者」シリーズなどを手掛けたことで知られている。 日野氏のブログによると，2024年中盤ごろに稲船氏が退社し，ファンタジーライフプロジェクトの再編成を余儀なくされたという。ゲームのプロデューサーは日野氏に代わり，プロジェクトの中核を大阪から本社に切り替えたとのことだ。
