Had a great day 1 at #SMRRF23 presenting our open hardware metal 3D printing project #FabMX. And look who dropped by: Mr RepRap @AdrianBowyer himself!
We are building an unusual 3D printer to hold our rather heavy #FabMX pellet extruder. Still a few things missing, but we are planning to live print with it at #SMRRF. Fingers crossed!

We are at #formnext expo this week! Meet the #FabMX team at the @FabLabMuc booth, where they show their metal 3d printer with the open-hardware pellet extruder.
#FabMX is building an #opensource metal 3D printer! They use a metal powder with small amount of plastic. After printing, the part must go through two processes: debinding (remove the plastic) and sintering (to bond the metal particles). They will be at #formnext this week.
