Is the fediverse ready for this much solemnity (and cuteness) in a puppy? On a Friday? I think so!

Joni was about 7 weeks old when I took this portrait of her. It looks like it should be framed in a gilt frame and hung on the walls of a staircase in an ancestral home.

Because I think everyone is struggling a little bit. I know I am. I was scrolling through my photos trying to find an image to share that might make people feel cared for, and came across this photo of Alfie, a friend's dog, taken many years ago. It's like a hug in a dog's face.
