Democratic senators wrote to Lee, chair of the committee, urging that the scheduled hearing on Wright's nomination be postponed for a week. The Democrats argued that the senators had yet to receive some of Wright's required ethics and financial disclosures, including an #FBIBackgroundCheck.
Lee has denied the request…in a Tuesday statement that the committee has since received all necessary paperwork needed to move forward without any "unnecessary holdups."
