@educationecon I am reviewing the literature on *Explicit Instruction*. Found some stuff in a review paper by Fryer (2017) but not easy to navigate as it is (exclusively?) an Education literature. Is anyone aware of pre-2017 causal empirical papers on the topic? Cheers!
