I enjoyed it #ExorcistBeliever. It had a couple of decent jump scares, and I liked the move away from the Catholic church into a more general Christian/humanistic ideology.
Mostly, the pace and direction felt very much like the original. The sequels all seemed to be trying to up the spectacle with more effects (although I did really enjoy #Exorcist3 just for it's banter).
