Rainbow vomit mode for the #eurorack established. That's the starting point I needed.

WS2812B LEDs controlled by FastLED on a Arduino Nano Every, external power supply. Needed a galvanic isolated USB connector to be safe, otherwise I'd have to disconnect the external 3.5A power supply for the LEDs everytime I upload a new sketch. The Nanos should have a diode to protect against this...but better safe than sorry.

Next on the roadmap are multiple lighting modes plus a CV-based colour changing scheme for ambient sets (note values influence colour). Another input for a transistor trigger input (I'm using CV for now). And the menu...will still take some time.

Seems I'll have rythmic lighting in my #eurorack case soon :>

...after I write all those damn algos to visualize it beautifully AND do all the menu work for the rotenc :(

But the CV detection works...next time I'll use a transistor.

Voltage divider seems to work, sinus is a bit wonky (used a VCO in CV mode), but I'm only using this for detecting trigger voltages, so it should be fine...

A bit proud on this. Cool little project to get the machines up and running again and all the software setup'd.

Frontplate GFK (from the copter department) with a lasered blue tape technique and a silver edding. Bit sloppy but looks ok.

Oh and it sounds great, zero noise etc and I've heard having the potis in reverse is kinda en vogue anyway. (Opa2132)

Failed at designing a Eurorack module.

I tried making a Eurorack mixer module since it's a module I still need and thought how hard can it be? It's essentially the hello world of modules and it failed.

I used different potis than I originally planned via the schematic and it seemed I can't get around ordering new ones since these ones were meant for a digital Arduino project anyway. So I'm not entirely sure what happened but I only get controllable hum and no volume control.

At least I tried but it seems Ive no luck with electronics. Digital Arduino stuff works fine at least.

Will see might get back at it again or order the correct parts maybe :P

Doepfer A-138n will take the open position

It feels like this module was on my bench since forever, as I was constantly forgetting to order some parts for it (as you can see I'm still missing one knob for some reason). But I finally built it, and I must say that it's a great designed filter with a lovely resonance. Thanks a lot @Gogledd! Now I'm off to celebrate the successful build with a cup of Welsh tea that came with the PCBs
