Almost continuous rolling distant thunder here in the BOP, loving it. Pressure is 1002hpa - down a few points but not moving much. Breeze is picking up a bit, trees susserating. Crickets chirping, skies darkening early, blinds rattling.

Took a gamble today leaving the house in short sleeves and summer mode although it was 9°c and dark.
Waiting for the bus in the pre-dawn was brisk but it's paying off now - no jacket to carry in the sun and warmth.

Pressure at 975 here and still dropping. Wind going nuts now. Shows 60kph on my panel but it's in the lee of the house with this direction, I'm sure it's higher. The local roads closed, trees down, main highway closed too. It's going to be a rough, sleepless night. Worried about folks with older housing. Mildly worried about my own.
