BREAKING: Team X44 prevailed against a hectic and dramatic final race at Uruguay and wins the 2022 Extreme E Championship. Sebastien Loeb and Cristina Gutierrez were able to finish in 3rd place in the final, just enough to score 2 points clear of Rosberg RXR Racing to clinch the championship.

Darn, it's a shame the #ExtremeE driver's championship is "best four results out of five", because I was hoping there was an outside chance for Sara Price to become the sole driver's champion by winning the #EnergyXPrix final.
Although I think there is still an outside chance for Ganassi to win the team's championship with a win and stealing the Super Sector points.

A worrying number of rollover crashes during Free Practice and Qualifying so far. Emma Gilmour had a roll during practice yesterday in the McLaren and Cristina Gutierrez had a very serious rollover crash and sustained heavy damage in the Team X44 car. Both drivers thankfully OK and cleared by medical. Track appears deceptively bouncy even though the surface is far more paved than some of the tracks XE visits.
Extreme E uses natural terrain to form its course, so it will be a bit different every year. This is the 2.9km course that will be used for this weekend's Energy X Prix at Punta del Este, Uruguay.
