Fix the budget by #TaxTheRich .
This means keeping the tax on tech (screw Trump, bc he's going to screw the UK anyway). Create a #WealthTax , #RaiseCapitalGainsRates , tax pensions of the wealthy and raise corporate tax rates.
And if #Labour really wants to get the economy growing, lower the #EnergyCap , lower water rates, protect renters and maybe even lower the VAT rate.

Ofgem are nothing short of a joke.
They clearly don't give a damn about consumers, only lining the pockets of the energy giants and their shareholders.
It's high time all utilities were re-nationlised so as NOT to put profit before service.

Limiting demand of top 20% saves seven times greenhouse gases required to meet needs of bottom 20%, researchers find
The study, which modelled the effect of narrowing the gaps in energy use between households within 27 European countries, found capping demand from the top fifth, even at a fairly high level, cut greenhouse gas pollution from energy consumption by 9.7%
So energy prices are due to go up again in April despite energy companies making huge profits and the rest of Europe paying significantly less. I don't know about you, but signing this petition is the least I can do. Time to write to my MP as well...
