The #Embera are being moved from Parque Nacional Enrique Olaya Herrera today.
Hundreds of families have been camped in the park in Bogotá (territory of the Indigenous Muisca), Colombia for the past 6+ months following violence in their home territory. However the public service has recently declared they will be returning home.
Curiously absent from public communications has been commentary from the Embera themselves.
Access to the park today has been restricted and many city workers, dump trucks, and buses are present at the site, with tarps and fences surrounding it, like gringo countries may recognize from homeless encampment clearings.
Any links to commentary from the Embera themselves would be most welcome.
