in addition to having previously had operations on the neck and back. He has plates and screws in one of his feet, and needs regular medical follow-up and daily treatment, as he needs 20 tablets from a specific group of medications to stabilize his health condition which makes his imprisonment extremely dangerous for his life.

Prisoner of conscience Gamal Saber, aged 55, died inside Wadi El Natroun prison.
Saber, who had been detained since March 2013, was a lawyer specialising in appeals and was the former general coordinator of the presidential campaign for politician Hazem Abu Ismail.
The Al-Shehab Center for Human Rights documented violations against young Mohamed Salah, following his arrest and enforced disappearance. Security forces detained him on 3 December last year while he was in a café in his village. According to his family, the security forces took Mohamed to his home before transporting him to an unknown location.
