Recent snowfall delays golf courses from opening
FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - Several inches of snow across the Fargo-Moorhead area have delayed golf courses from opening this season.Some courses, such as Edgewood Golf Course, were looking at an opening date as early as next week. “We needed the moisture, so I won’t complain about that, but it’s definitely going to delay our potential opening,” said Jason Spitzner, Golf Course Superintendent at Edgewood. “For us, once we melt all the snow, we dry up.
