With Mamdami's election in NYC I keep thinking of a scene in this move based on a novel by Isabelle Allende. They talk about economic sabotage of the sort suffered by Chile after the election of Salvador Allende.. It was interesting the other day to see a few lines about Venezuela handing out rifles to a lot of people in preparation for Gringo coup or invasion. It was explained as a mistake the Pres. Allende did not do that soon enough..
