It seems to me that if a #Wayland compositor is going to store window positions, it should go ahead and include a file manager implementation.

If we get in a time machine, #Nautilus and #Metacity from #GNOME 2.0 would merge to become the ultimate desktop shell. (I think that's sort of what #Eazel had in mind anyway.)
