Archaeologists in Canada are baffled by a runic inscription. Just published a few minutes ago is the news that hidden in the Canadian wilderness is a stone which has been carved with 250 symbols. It is doubtful that they were carved by a Viking, though it is known that a runic alphabet was used to create the Lord's Prayer in the 17th century in Sweden. So a theory is that a Swede working at Hudson's Bay was responsible.
