At EMD 2026 in Limassol, EU4Algae showcased algae-based products, educational resources and innovation, while contributing to blue economy discussions and supporting the launch of the 2026 #EUBeachCleanup campaign.
The 2026 #EUBeachCleanup campaign kicked off in Limassol on Saturday with Commissioner @CostasKadis and Limassol Mayor @YiannisArmeftis taking part in a coastal cleanup with local volunteers.
Commissioner Kadis described the event as both a practical and symbolic initiative.
