Yesterday at UC Berkeley I had an amazing experience reconnecting after 35 years — with my faculty advisor and grad school peers. I’m remembering the long hours, the ups and downs, and the life lessons. Feeling appreciative, nostalgic, and grateful for the experience.

@profoundlynerdy 4/ Many CS degrees these days are combined with electrical engineering in some way. These #EECS degrees also provide greater coverage of hardware, which, believe it or not, is still relevant and will be for a long time.

Advice requested: I'd like to acquire a low-rent #EECS "degree"; I'm willing to put in the work but I'd like to sidestep the admissions, attendance, relocation, cost, etc. (I know I won't get the prestige or credibility of an actual degree.)

What's my best track, if I just want to end up with the knowledge that an EECS degree entails?
