The #ECSC2023 #ECSC was - regarding the technical stuff and competition-wise - a nightmare. Best of from 3 days CTF:

- Discord Bot that does 30min ban for words like “god” or “cp”, while “cp” being a mandatory prefix for team captains

- Missing firewall rules, so instead of just being able to connect to your own pcap-hosting ftp server, to everyone’s. The pcap included flags in cleartext.

I won’t post the detailed 48 item participant curated list…

The Hotel and people were cool!

 Congratulations Team Germany on winning the European Cybersecurity Challenge 2023!

Well done also to Switzerland and Denmark for the 2nd and 3rd spot! #ecsc2023 #ctf
