monstrelineI just took #DoodleBoy out for a walk on his own, to get his training back on track. I ALWAYS forget how quickly concepts are absorbed without the distraction of the park or our other dog. It makes complete sense, I just conveniently forget it whenever I’m feeling too run down to walk them separately.
@Tavalonia I just walked #DoodleBoy through Borderleau and he was thrilled about thr relatively minor amount of goose poo available. I didnt get him until autumn so didnt really know if he’d be yay or nay…I guess Borderleau will soon be off limits for him until winter!
This morning, I impulsively booked #DoodleBoy for a grooming appointment. 20 minutes later I got a call asking if I was available to bring him in earlier. Yup!
It’s his first groom in his time with us and he’s looking pretty ratty but in all fairness, when he first moved in, he would immediately hide if anyone picked up a brush. 6 months later he’ll tolerate me brushing him daily but the mats are a barrier to progress. He’s getting clipped and I’m confident that we can move forward with better maintenance now that he’s not terrified of the brush!
I’m late getting home from work again. The dog park is directly on my route home, so I could see that I #LuurcherGirl’s bestie is already there. Now marching her and #DoodleBoy as fast as possible, hoping not to miss the bestie!
